This striking river coffee table is the first of its kind from my workshop — a real statement piece with plenty of natural charm. Made from beautifully figured Field Maple, the organic splits in the wood have been stabilised using solid oak bow tie inlays, adding both strength and a distinctive design detail.
A rich cobalt blue resin flows through the crevices, creating a bold contrast with the pale maple grain. Sleek black hairpin legs give the piece a modern edge, while a natural oil finish enhances the wood’s colour and grain, offering long-lasting protection and a smooth, tactile surface.
The table measures approximately 1000mm x 450mm x 40mm and stands at a height of 440mm — a perfect centrepiece for any contemporary living space.
