Olivewood & Resin Statement Wall Clock – One of a Kind

This one-of-a-kind statement wall clock brings together the natural beauty of olivewood with a dramatic blend of black and copper resin, creating a piece where the materials themselves become the design.

Individual sections of olivewood are set within the resin, creating a striking composition of warm golden-brown timber, natural grain, knots and markings. Flowing between them, the black and copper resin forms rich swirling patterns with subtle metallic highlights that change as the light catches the surface.

At the centre, a larger section of olivewood forms a natural focal point, surrounded by the contrasting resin and smaller sections of timber.

Rather than hiding the natural cracks, variations and character of the wood, they have been retained as part of the finished clock — celebrating the individuality of the olivewood from which it was made.

Twelve solid brass rod hour markers complement the warm copper tones within the resin and are paired with elegant gold hands. A silent-sweep quartz movement keeps time without the distraction of ticking.

At approximately 290mm in diameter, this is a substantial wall clock designed to be noticed, while the combination of natural timber, dark resin and understated brass detailing allows it to sit comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional interiors.

Individually handcrafted and finished in my Gloucestershire workshop, this is the exact clock shown in the photographs. There will never be another exactly like it.
