This sculptural pillar candle holder is handcrafted from striking lacewood, chosen for its distinctive flecked grain and warm natural tone. The stacked ring form gives the piece a contemporary, almost stone-like silhouette while allowing the character of the timber to wrap beautifully around the shape.
Measuring 120mm at its widest point and approximately 70mm high, the holder is designed to support a standard 65mm diameter pillar candle. The 20mm deep recess ensures the candle sits securely and confidently within the form.
Finished with a natural oil to enhance the timber’s texture and depth, this piece is tactile, solid and designed to age gracefully over time.
Supplied with a 200mm tall pillar candle for styling and scale.
Each holder is individually made in my Gloucestershire workshop, and no two pieces will ever be identical due to the unique nature of lacewood.
Candle Safety
Please always burn candles responsibly. Never leave a lit candle unattended and keep away from children, pets, curtains and other flammable materials. Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface and allow the candle to cool before handling. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use and discontinue use when 10–15mm of wax remains.
This holder is designed for 65mm diameter pillar candles seated securely within the 20mm recess.
